Which licensing exams can I study for in Texas?
MilesToPass has courses for the Texas insurance and real estate exams and the national SAFE MLO and SIE exams.
What is the Texas insurance exam like?
Exam: General Lines – Life, Accident & Health (InsTX-LAH05; Spanish: InsTX-LAH25). Questions: 130 scored (100 general knowledge + 30 Texas law), plus 15 unscored pretest questions. Time: 150 minutes. Passing score: 70 on a 0–100 scaled score (not 70% correct).
Is there a Texas version of the SAFE MLO and SIE exams?
No. They are national exams, so there is one course whichever state you are in. The licensing steps around the exam can still differ by state, so check with your state regulator as well.
