Nonsolicitation order

An order by the Secretary of State, after a public hearing, restricting solicitation of residential listings or sales throughout a defined area where intense, repeated solicitation caused owners to fear declining values from people of different backgrounds moving in. It lasts up to five years and does not depend on an owner joining a list.
